Ordained in 2011, Pastor Carol has shown dedication through the Grace of God to pursue her education. Ezekiel 37:1 - 14, The Fabric of Discontent Between Church and Community: A Prophetic Message” In addition, Pastor Carol enrolled in an Evangelistic Preaching Course through the Billy Graham School of Evangelism where she earned a Certificate in 2006. Because of her expertise and mannerism, she was given the opportunity to serve as Vice-President/ Secretary of the Black Student Caucus at Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School and has served on the Women Studies Advisory Board at Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School. She is a mother of three adult children and two grandchildren and she believes that prayer is what has kept her, and prayer is what is keeping her, and prayer is what’s pushing her forward to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Carol is employed full time with Monroe County Department of Social Services, working to bring individuals to become self-sufficient; she has taught Critical Thinking skills and Strategies for Success to adults in an academia perspective; and she continues to serve in her community as the President of the Portland Avenue Neighborhood Association in Rochester, working with a steering committee and members from the City of Rochester with a vision of revitalization, transformation of individuals and community activism.
