Directions The Historic Parsells Church is located in the northeast section of Rochester. Here are some general directions: From the northeast part of Monroe County: Take 104 West, get off at the Culver Road exit, turn left. Keep going down Culver until you get to Parsells Avenue. (There’s a part in there where Culver veers to the left; get in the left lane and follow the curve at the intersection of Culver, Waring, and Woodman.) At Parsells Avenue, turn right and go 2 blocks to Parsells & Denver (the church is on the left). OR, if you’re coming from Webster, you could take Empire Boulevard to Culver Road; turn left. At the next light (Culver and Bay), go straight. When you get to the second light (Culver & Parsells), turn right and go 2 blocks to Parsells & Denver (the church is on the left). From the northwest part of Monroe County: Take 104 East, get off at the Goodman Street exit, turn right. Continue going down North Goodman Street. Go past Central Park (which is a road, not a park). At the next light after that, turn left onto Ferndale Crescent. Turn right onto Webster Avenue. You will be immediately at another traffic light. Turn left onto Parsells Avenue. Go 4 blocks to Denver Street (the church is on the right). From the west side of the city: Take Main Street eastbound, go past the Auditorium Theater and the Main Street Armory, go over the railroad bridge and turn left onto Goodman Street (use the second left-turn lane, not the left-left one). Turn right at the next light (Goodman & Webster), continue down Webster Avenue, and then turn right onto Parsells Avenue. Go 4 blocks to Parsells & Denver (the church is on the right). From the southwest part of Monroe County: Take 490 East, get off at the Culver Road exit, turn left. Continue going down Culver until you get to Parsells Avenue. Turn left and go 2 blocks to Parsells & Denver (the church is on the left). From the southeast part of Monroe County and areas south of Rochester: Take 490 West, merge right onto 590 North. From 590 North, get off at the Browncroft Blvd. exit (exit 7), turn left. Make a right onto Merchants Road. Continue on Merchants, past the traffic light at Winton Road, and past the light at Wisconsin Street (on the left) and Wyand Crescent (on the right). Once through that second intersection, turn left at the next street (Grand Avenue). Go to Culver Road. Once you get to Culver, you can (1) go straight on Grand, go 2 blocks to Denver Street and turn right (the church is on the right at the end of the block) OR (2) you can turn right onto Culver, then turn left at the next light (Culver & Parsells), and go 2 blocks to Parsells & Denver (the church is on the left).
